Processor II – Off Site Access Authorization Processing

Job Summary

Wyandotte Technologies is a leading provider of professional services and solutions to the Department of Energy. We are recruiting a Processor II to support of the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (SC) Consolidated Service Center (CSC) technical services contract at multiple DOE sites in Oak Ridge, TN.

Primary Duties:

Personnel Security Processing. This includes, but is not limited to:

· Perform accurate and timely reviewing of clearance packages and initial uncleared PIVs to ensure information is complete and consistent with procedures and policies, including those issued by local DOE CPSO, and any further site-specific requirements.

· Clearance and uncleared PIV packages must be processed, monitored, completed, and transmitted in accordance with DOE and Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA) requirements, including processing the requests in the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) eApp system.

· Review and maintain data integrity for multiple databases and clearance processing systems.

· Review applicant and incumbent clearance submission for completeness and process other security-related documents.

· Perform data entry for all clearance actions including data entry into various databases and spreadsheets.

· Perform processing tasks with varying levels of prioritization and processing timeline requirements.

· Conduct appropriate security briefings as needed and verify that proper execution of required Standard Form 312.

· Assist customers with clearance and initial uncleared PIV submissions.

· Prepare accurate draft and final correspondence, including forms, letters and memorandums related to personnel security activities.

· Perform accurate and timely document control to prepare and process, route, transmit and control personnel security documents and files, as well as additional follow-up as needed.

· Cross-trains and provides support in other contract areas as needed.

· The position requires the secure handling of business sensitive, proprietary, CUI, and classified matter up to and including Secret Restricted Data.

· Ensure ongoing quality assurance, significant attention to detail while also efficiently prioritizing multiple requests/customers at once.

· Ensure effective communication and provide directions to customers on statuses, programs, policies, and procedures.

· Following successful completion of training, expected to perform tasks with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

Experience in Personnel Security which includes:

· Access Authorizations

· Personnel Security Processing

· Badge requirements and processing (HSPD-12, LSSO)

· Security Briefings

· NBIS eApp access and coordination

· CPCI, PIPS/CVS, CATS

· Incidents of Security Concern (IOSC)

Technical experience in the areas of:

· Safeguards and Security

· Knowledge of DOE operations

· Experience in working in a secure, controlled environment

· Knowledge of DOE Orders and Directives

· Knowledge of the Facility Clearance Programs/FOCI

· Knowledge of Personnel Security Programs and Directives

· Knowledge of DOE classified and unclassified markings

· Must have working knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

· Ability to comprehend, translate and apply DOE Safeguards and Security requirements and directives, and seek clarification when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

· BA Degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant discipline

· Personnel Security Training from the National Training Center (NTC) preferred

Clearance:

· This position requires a favorably adjudicated T5 national background investigation and a DOE Q clearance to execute the duties required.
