Job description Job Summary:
Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements, reviewing data, and ensuring financial compliance. Responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, procurement, various tax returns, and creating general ledger entries.
Responsibilities:
Compile financial statements and review for accuracy and legal compliance. Prepare and file various tax returns. Maintain and update accounting records, files and general ledger. Create Expense Reports Conduct billing processes. Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Conduct month-end and year-end closures. Prepare documentation for internal and external auditors. Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes Qualifications:
Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Attention to detail. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to read and analyze financial reports Strong understanding of US and state tax regulations Ability to obtain and maintain a WNGC license Must have at least two years' experience in accounting or a related field Experience with financial reporting requirements. Must have a High School education and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In certain circumstances, relevant experience may be considered in place of degree. Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
