Job description Summary:
The Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Developer to oversee application development, modernization and enhancement (DME) functions to the United State Department of Agriculture National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) office.
The successful candidate will possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plan and lead major technology assignments. Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Primary Duties:
· Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
· Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
· Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
· May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
· May supervise computer programmers.
Experience/Education:
· Must have at least 7 years of Senior Software Developer experience
· Experience with the following technologies: JAVA, WSDL, PL/SQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
· Must possess strong analytical skills, ability to handle multiple concurrently projects, be detailed oriented, and have strong organization, interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
