PROJECT MANAGER
WYANDOTTE SERVICES, Wyandotte OK has a potential opportunity to provide experienced PROJECT MANAGEMENT for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 Regional Office, Records and Information Management Services (RIMS), Lenexa, Kansas.
SUMMARY
The candidate will perform as the on-site technical manager who directs and oversees the Records Center staff and processes.
They shall be knowledgeable about the programs supported by the contract, to the extent necessary, to fully support the records and information management needs of those programs. Specific EPA Record keeping software includes the following: Versatile Enterprise and Imaging (Versatile) and Superfund Enterprise Management System (SEMS). The candidate shall ensure all staff are trained to maintain up-to-date knowledge with EPA's software suite used in the day-to-day performance of the contract (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, database tools and email systems) and use those available tools to efficiently perform the required work.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Project Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Day-to-day operations of operation of the Records Center.
• Supervision of staff, quality control and interaction with TOCORs and customers.
• Responsible for quality assurance measurements, tracking and submission of Task Order deliverables, and shall be available to provide the EPA with status of on-going work.
• Some travel may be required.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
• B.A/B.S. Degree or 10 years in records management.
• Four (4) years’ experience (within the last 7 years) in a management position responsible for a staff of at least 5 employees performing records management activities.
• Four (4) years’ experience (within the last 7 years) implementing records schedules.
• Experience processing records using an electronic management system.
• Experience applying performance criteria against quality assurance measures
