Summary Wyandotte Services is a leading provider of professional services and solutions to the Department of Energy. We are recruiting a Secretary I in support of the Department of Energy Oak Ridge Office, Office of Safeguards, Security and Emergency Management contract. The Secretary I will support the Program Manager in all aspects of meeting the requirements of the contract.
Primary Duties: • Provides administrative support for designated supervisors • Prepares procedures, plans and programs related areas of responsibility • Compiles and presents statistics, trends, lessons learned, reoccurring reports, etc. • Liaison with Corporate HR for employee benefits, etc. • Provides administrative support for monthly invoices • Prepare new hire orientation, including completion of forms for badges, access controls, computer access • Assists in writing contract modifications, budget preparation, contract deliverables, and reports • Maintains Wyandotte Services Training Records • Maintains PM calendar and schedules meetings • Provides administrative support to Off-Site facilities • Logistics coordinator for WS travel, training, meetings, conferences • Time card system maintenance • Prepares letters for PM’s signature (official communication between Wyandotte and DOE, etc.) • Keeps track of supply needs for employees located at ORNL, ETTP, and ORO • Assist with administration of contract deliverables • Cross-trains and provides support in other contract areas as needed
Other Duties: • Provides support for the ORO Badge Office • Assist PM with other assigned duties as assigned • Provides support for self-assessments and surveys (preparation of data call, etc.)
Qualifications: Preferred experience in Personnel Security which includes: • Badge Fabrication and Administration • HSPD-12 Badge requirements and processing • E-QIP access and coordination
Minimum Requirements: • Strong organizational, communication and collaborative skills • Write concisely both business and technical correspondence • Strong people skills at all levels of a company and customer organization • Strong customer relations and actively seek feedback • Work to promote a positive work environment for other employees and our customers • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of DOE Directives and Orders
Education: • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Clearance: Must have a DOE “Q” Clearance or be eligible for a “Q” Clearance re-instatement
