Description: Bearskin Services has a contract opportunity for a Senior Systems Administrator with a focus on Government Security Controls and VMWARE for 14th Fighter Training Wing (FTW), Network Control Center (NCC) for Information Technology Support Services at Columbus AFB in Columbus, Mississippi. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
General Tasks:
Candidate will be jointly responsible to oversee System Administration for servers, including VMWare Virtual Servers, AS5300 servers and implement government security controls through IAVA's, STIG's, CTO's, and DOD through NSA guidance and directives for NIPR and/or SIPR networked computer systems at Columbus AFB.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The major portion of work shall be performed on Columbus AFB in Columbus, MS. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal communications and a senior level technical understanding of Information Technology, Network Communications and Information Assurance.
The candidate will be responsible for coordination, planning and support in the following areas:
• Managing and maintaining all Systems and Server Security, Server Life-Cycle Support, Server Setup and Provisioning.
• Implementing government security controls through IAVA's, STIG's, CTO's, and DOD and NSA guidance and directives to ensure minimal Network Vulnerability.
• ACAS Vulnerability scanning, mitigation and require documentation
• Database and VM Administration
• SQL Server, Data Storage, Group Policy and Print server management
Candidate must possess these qualifying baselines:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or similar
• VMWare Certification with at least 3 Years related experience in VMWare and/or Server Management
• Completed/Current Security +
• They must hold a SECRET Clearance.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
